Nearly 14,000 visitors saw the MALT display at the library during the month. What a fun way to showcase we do and impact MALT has made in our community! 

100 Holes of Golf - June 16, 2016
Another zany, wacky and silly golfing outing to raise money for land and water conservation! Thank you to Rotary Club of Evergreen, Colorado for hosting the 100 Holes of Golf event today! MALT's fourth year to participate and always such a fun time! Special thanks to Team MALT: John Greene, Jim Davis, Rod Morgan, Tammy Laushey, Jim Thomas, Anne McLean and Tony McEahern.

Mountain Area Land Trust (MALT) celebrates 23 years of land conservation at their annual 13th A Night in the Park, Saturday, August 8, 2015  A celebration of land and water conservation benefiting MALT at Alderfer/Three Sisters Park in Evergreen.

Wednesday, September 24, 2014  hosted by TallGrass Aveda Spa and Salon and benefiting MALT.  This year's theme is "The Mad Hatter Tea Party" so wear your most creative, fun or outrageous hat!  Enjoy hors d’oeuvres & cash bar while experiencing the season’s must-have fashions from local area merchants and trendsetting hairstyles created by the elite stylists at TallGrass. Participate in the silent auction for your chance at fantastic merchandise, services and gift certificates.

Mountain Area Land Trust (MALT) celebrates 22 years of land conservation at their annual “A Night in the Park” fundraiser taking place on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Alderfer/Three Sisters Park in Evergreen from 6pm to 10pm. Proceeds from this event benefit land conservation.  


Enjoy an evening under the tent at Alderfer/Three Sisters Park that includes a gourmet dinner, wine, beer, margaritas, music by Dakota Blonde and incredible live and silent auction items. Honorary Chairs for this event are Deborah Deeg and Fred Van Dusen.  MALT will also honor Greg Penkowsky as the 2014 Bud Simon Preservationist of the Year and Long Meadow Ranch & the Ostertag Family as the 2014 Land Stewards of the Year.

Once again the mighty Mountain Area Land Trust golfers are "golfing" with their brooms, hockey sticks and maybe even a golf club in the second annual 100 Holes of Golf event hosted by Evergreen Rotary Club on Thursday, June 19. Mountain Area Land Trust presents the ninth annual Backcountry Film Festival

The ten unique films included in this year’s ninth annual Backcountry Film Festival will inspire you to embrace winter!  The films come from renowned filmmakers who search backcountry corners across the globe to submit their best work and from grassroots filmmakers who take a video camera out on their weekend excursions and submit their best films.  Feature film Valhalla (rated PG-13), winner of the 2013 “Best of Festival”, is the tale of one man’s search to rediscover the freedom of his youth.

Join Team MALT at the 1st Annual 100 Holes of Golf event sponsored by Evergreen Rotary on June 19 at the Evergreen Golf Course, Evergreen, CO.  This is rapid fire golf and you don't have to be a golfer! Each foursome starts with 10 balls per player and hits all 10 balls off the first tee box they are assigned to start. You don't keep track of your balls and that is where the fun begins!
